Kate Donovan is a fine artist known for her expressive painting style.
She has spent over 20 years creating impactful editorial work as a lifestyle editor for leading New York based design publications, brands and corporate clients. In 2024 she founded her eponymous studio and specializes in bringing her passion for the natural world to life in the form of fine art, illustration, textiles and private commissions. Select clients include Elle Decor, Architectural Digest, Brides Magazine, and Hunter Douglas.
After living in far flung places like Rome, Santa Fe, and New York City, Kate has made a home in the tiny, yet vibrant arts community of Water Valley, Mississippi. She shares a colorful 1885 bungalow with her partner, cats, many books, and collected objects from her travels.
